History of Project Pro$per
Project Prosper was founded in 2007 by Ann Haendel and Robin Warren to help integrate recent immigrants living in the Tampa Bay area.
They recognized that economic success in the United States is
dependent on access to and a concrete understanding of our financial
institutions. They were further aware that immigrants unfamiliar
with basic information or having language limitations were being
left out of the financial mainstream.
Today Project Prosper is educating immigrants about our financial system and providing them an opportunity to gain experience using this system. By helping immigrants overcome current barriers, Project Prosper is facilitating their economic and social integration into our community.
